Sex Ed. is important. When to start is the point. Being in education for years on LI, I have seen teens get pregnant and have abortions at the outset of receiving their period. Some at 11. By 16 after two or three abortions, they have the child. It's sad. So, if parents are not on top of this, then the school unfortunately must take over.
