Review: The Sidekick Chronicles by Stacey Rourke

The Sidekick Chronicles
The Gryphon Series #2.5
By: Stacey Rourke
Published: September 13th, 2012 by Anchor Group Publishing

Celeste isn't the only member of the Garrett family whose life changed when destiny called. Every sidekick had their tale and in this Gryphon Series short the spotlight is turned on Kendall, Grams and even Gabe. Get an inside look at the hilarious stress that goes along with being a...sidekick.

Sidekicks...ya can't live with 'em, and you'd probably die horribly without 'em.

The Sidekick Chronicles is set in the timeframe between Rourke's other novels, Embrace and Sacrifice, that doesn't give away any major spoilers, but I don't recommend you read it before The Conduit and Embrace (you will ruin Sacrifice for yourself). But you definitely want to read it! You will miss vital things, I assure you.

The Sidekick Chronicles follows Kendall through her homecoming (and attempt to get there unscathed), Grams trying desperately to watch Sons of Anarchy, and Gabe and Alaina being adorbs. While this may not sound important, it truly is, I just can't tell you why because I will spoil everything.

In comparison to Rourke's other novels, The Sidekick Chronicles is light and fluffy, but has a lot of important information that leads to the series. A great little novella!
