Or will she be sacrificed to secure the borders of Zion and to hide the lie her journey uncovers?

About the Author-
Born in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she continues to reside, K.Williams embarked on a now twenty year career in writing. After a childhood, which consisted of voracious reading and hours of film watching, it was a natural progression to study and work in the arts.
K attended the State University of New York at Morrisville, majoring in the Biological Sciences, and then continued with English and Historical studies at the University at Albany (home of the New York State Writer’s Institute) gaining her Bachelor’s Degree. While attending UA, K interned with the 13th Moon Feminist Literary Magazine, bridging her interests in social movements and art.
Currently, K has completed the MALS program for Film Studies and Screenwriting at Empire State College (SUNY), and is the 2013-2014 recipient of the Foner Fellowship in Arts and Social Justice. K continues to write and is working on the novels of the Trailokya Trilogy, a work that deals with topics in Domestic Violence and crosses the controversial waters of organized religion and secularism. How long does it usually take you to write a book, from the original idea to finishing writing it?
That’s a difficult question, because of my process it seems like it takes forever. In the case of this book--a lifetime--literally! Blue Honor was about a decade to whip it into shape, as it was my first novel. OP-DEC also started out in dreams, but after mulling the idea over for years, I set down and wrote it in six weeks. When I sat down to write Trailokya, the entire series took six months.
Do you have a certain routine you have for writing? ie You listen to music, sit in a certain chair?
I do! Avoid sitting down at all costs. Procrastinate! I don’t think this was a very good idea. I want to think it over more. So I go clean, bake something or do laundry--walk the dog, watch a movie.
When I do sit, either on my bed with the laptop or in my office at the desk, I play my playlist of newest music and start to get a feel for the work. Eventually a certain sound sets my fingers on fire and I type furiously and the images come like feature film. So I make a playlist with that music. Do you want to check out the Trailokya Soundtrack? If you could invite three favorite writers to dinner, who would you invite?
Tolkien, of course, Oscar Wilde and Graham Greene. Tolkien and Greene would get on well, both being conservative men and proud Britishers. Me and Oscar would probably make them crazy. It would interesting!
Tell us a bit about your next project.
My next project is a sequel to my second novel OP-DEC: Operation Deceit, which is titled: OP-GHO: Operation Ghost. Things weren’t quite resolved by the end of OP-DEC and readers wanted more of the main character. I had to admit, I missed him too.
