"Waiting on" Wednesday: "Touch and Go" by Lisa Gardner

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly even hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases we're super excited about. This week, my pick is:

Touch and Go
By Lisa Gardner
Expected Publication Date: February 5, 2013

This is my family: Vanished without a trace…

Justin and Libby Denbe have the kind of life that looks good in the pages of a glossy magazine. A beautiful fifteen-year old daughter, Ashlyn. A gorgeous brownstone on a tree-lined street in Boston’s elite Back Bay neighborhood. A great marriage, admired by friends and family. A perfect life.

This is what I know: Pain has a flavor…

When investigator Tessa Leoni arrives at the crime scene in the Denbes’ home, she finds scuff marks on the floor and Taser confetti in the foyer. The family appears to have been abducted, with only a pile of their most personal possessions remaining behind. No witnesses, no ransom demands, no motive. Just an entire family, vanished without a trace.

This is what I fear: The worst is yet to come…

Tessa knows better than anyone that even the most perfect façades can hide the darkest secrets. Now she must race against the clock to uncover the Denbes’ innermost dealings, a complex tangle of friendships and betrayal, big business and small sacrifices. Who would want to kidnap such a perfect little family? And how far would such a person be willing to go?

This is the truth: Love, safety, family…it is all touch and go.

I adore Lisa Gardner's books. I have yet to read one I didn't absolutely love. I cannot wait to get this one in my hot little hands!

This is my "Waiting on", what's yours?

And now an Excerpt from Solstice:

She tried to breathe slowly and calmly, not for herself but to listen for her child. She just wanted a sign that she was still alive. Perhaps a cooing of some sort, but it didn’t happen. Instead she listened to what sounded like flesh ripping and bones cracking. The mother wanted to believe that it was fabric caught in some metal making the sound, but she knew better. In fact, she knew too much. As swollen and in pain as she was, she knew that her newborn child was not human. Not in the way that she would have planned.

It hurt when she breathed. Her insides were mangled from the sudden growth of her child inside her womb. It especially hurt on the right side of her body. What she may have known deep down is that her lung was not in the same place it was before. In fact, one of her ribs; the fifth rib from the top, had broken at the curve and punctured the lung. Her stomach alone was almost mush while her kidneys were pushed out further from where they needed to be, so much so that they were torn from their renal arteries. The fact that she was alive at all was a miracle itself.

The mother hung upside down for four hours in the ambulance until the gurney came loose from the floorboard and fell to the street pavement. Her knees broke in half because her legs were strapped to the stirrups. The pain was as unbearable as she thought, and she let out a soft cry. At least she thought she did. She could not scream or even talk anymore, and any chance of her getting help had died along with her. The mother’s last breath was coming, and with the last breath she heard a whimper next to her telling her that she was sorry and didn’t mean to hurt her mommy.

The mother’s eyes filled with tears and with her last breath she told her, “I know, and mommy loves you.” Her mouth was moving but no sound came out. Her own daughter could not hear her mother’s voice. As she was dying, she watched her daughter walk out of the wreckage with the policeman’s coat and hat, walking with bandages covering her feet to keep them protected. ”My smart little girl,” she thought. Her daughter turned around with the sunlight behind her head and cracked a small smile with the right side of her face. Her daughter heard her, just not in the way we hear things. Maybe that too was a miracle.

The mother died a minute later, but she will always have the memory no matter what lies in the afterlife. Her favorite thing in the physical world was the sun in the morning and the fact that her daughter was in front of it, illuminating her little body, such a brilliant picture in her mind as she left this world. It reminded her of summer.

'Jack Templar Monster Hunter' by Jeff Gunhus Book Blitz

Jack Templar: Monster Hunter

Orphan Jack Templar has no memory of his parents and only the smallest details from his Aunt Sophie about how they died. The day before Jack's fourteenth birthday, things start to change for him. At first it's great: A sudden new strength helps him defend his nose-picking friend "T-Rex" from the school bully, and even his crush, Cindy Adams, takes notice. But then a mysterious girl named Eva arrives and tells him two facts that will change his life forever. First, that he's the descendent of a long line of monster hunters and he's destined to be in the family business. Second, that there's a truce between man and monster that children are off-limits...until their fourteenth birthday! Jack has only one day before hundreds of monsters will descend on his little town of Sunnyvale and try to kill him.

As if that weren't enough, things get even more complicated when Jack discovers that the Lord of the Creach (as the monsters are collectively known) holds a personal grudge against him and will do anything to see that Jack has a slow and painful death. To stay alive and save his friends, Jack will have to battle werewolves, vampires, harpies, trolls, zombies and more. But perhaps the most dangerous thing he must face is the truth about his past. Why do the other hunters call him the last Templar? Why do they whisper that he may be the "One?" Why do the monsters want him dead so badly? Even as these questions plague him, he quickly discovers survival is his new full-time job and that in the world of monster hunters, nothing is really what it seems.

Author Jeff Gunhus

Jeff Gunhus grew up in Cyprus, Greece, and Saudi Arabia where there was a distinct lack of television. He quickly found books were the gateway to incredible adventures, fascinating characters and unbelievable discoveries. Now, with five children of his own (all who watch too much television, in his opinion), he has enjoyed revisiting his old books and reliving those adventures all over again.

Kirkus Reviews

"Gunhus brings young readers a monster-filled romp to read at their own risk. In the first few pages, Jack, the storyteller and main character, warns readers not to read about these real-world monsters that would seem to only exist in fiction. The tone is set--sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek and likable; rooting for Jack is easy...Gunhus masterfully introduces fully realized characters with whom readers can connect almost instantly. The pacing is quick but not rushed, and events seamlessly progress, complete with action, cliff-hangers and surprise reveals. "

Amazon Reviews

Watch out Percy Jackson here comes Jack Templar
Move over Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, there's a new kid in town - Jack Templar, and he will take you on a wonderful adventure of good vs evil, with friends and enemies at every turn. The twists and turns keep the reader on a roller coaster of entertainment in the way of JK Rowling and Rick Riordan. ~ Penny Brein

Fast paced adventure through and through
Written for middle school aged students, this book is action-packed from the beginning and will hold the attention of young readers. Not only that, as an adult reader, it was hard to put down, so parents will enjoy it as an easy read. ~ bluejellybean

Kids will love it!
Not only will kids love it, adults will too! I don't want to give the plot away but this is a book worth reading. This book is creatively written drawing in the reader to be a participant in the story. There is lots of action with enough blood and guts to be interesting without being gross. Girls will like it too with the strong female role models and the hint of romance. Even though this is a children's book, I couldn't put it down. I will definitely be adding this to my classroom library. I am looking forward to reading the book in this series and sharing it with my students. Awesome book! ~ pixiep

Book Trailer

WARNING

Yeah, you read it right. I’m a monster hunter. Back before I actually became one, I would have thought that sounded totally awesome. And don’t get me wrong, in a lot of ways it is. But most of the time, I’m either running for my life or hiding in the shadows, praying the monster chasing me doesn’t pick up my scent. And I’m almost always scared to death. In a few pages, I think you’ll see why.
But there are a few things I need to warn you about before I tell you my story.
First, this isn’t a cartoon. These are bloodthirsty creatures who will stop at nothing to kill. They are scary. Very scary. Second, the only way to stop them is to kill them first…and that gets gross and messy. Third, this is all real.
You think I’m kidding, don’t you? I can almost see you smirking as you read this. But this isn’t a joke. Monsters are real and the story I’m about to tell you really happened. If you’d rather walk through life believing that monsters are only found in books or on the movie screen, then you should shut this book right now and go do something else.
I give you these warnings because the story I’m about to tell you isn’t for everyone. Not everyone can handle it. The blood. The gore. The monsters.
This life was thrust onto me. I had no choice but to take up a sword and fight. But you can still walk away and pretend this dark world doesn’t exist. Or you can walk through the door that I’m about to open and find out the truth about the world around you.
But I warn you (and this is a big warning), if you read this book, if you learn about the monsters that roam among us and the hunters who fight them, if you decide to learn the truth, then you will become fair game for the monsters to chase.
Make sure you understand what I’m saying.
If you read this book, you will be part of this world and the monsters will come after you too. You will start to see things that no other humans can see. The shadows will move when you walk near them. The creatures of the night will seek you out, testing the doors and windows of your house, looking for a way in.
And, at some point, they will find you, just like they found me, and you will be forced to defend yourself.
So, think carefully before you turn the page, because once you do, there’s no turning back.
     Ever.
Once a monster hunter, always a monster hunter.
See you on the other side.
     If you’re brave enough.

Book Blitz: "Phantom" by Laura DeLuca

The “Phantom” was a musical phenomenon that Rebecca had always found enchanting. She had no idea that her life was about to mirror the play that was her obsession. When her high school drama club chooses “Phantom” as their annual production, Rebecca finds herself in the middle of an unlikely love triangle and the target of a sadistic stalker who uses the lines from the play as their calling card.

Rebecca lands the lead role of Christine, the opera diva, and like her character, she is torn between her two co-stars—Tom the surfer and basketball star who plays the lovable hero, and Justyn, the strangely appealing Goth who is more than realistic in the role of the tortured artist.

Almost immediately after casting, strange things start to happen both on and off the stage. Curtains fall. Mirrors are shattered. People are hurt in true phantom style. They all seem like accidents until Rebecca receives notes and phone calls that hint at something more sinister. Is Justyn bringing to life the twisted character of the phantom? Or in real life are the roles of the hero and the villain reversed? Rebecca doesn’t know who to trust, but she knows she’s running out of time as she gets closer and closer to opening night. Only when the mask is stripped away, will the twenty first century phantom finally be revealed.

And now an Excerpt from Phantom

The orchestra tuned for its virtuoso, and Justyn stood ready. But no one else was ready for the magical performance he began. Beside her, Carmen was rambling on about something mundane. Rebecca elbowed her to silence so she could listen to the perfectly thrilling tenor. As she listened to the song unfold, the world around her started to slip away. Gone was the high school auditorium. Gone were the rowdy teenagers. The Gothic stranger on the stage had become the embodiment of Erik, and Rebecca watched him in all his dark glory, belting out his tormented love through the words of his song. And she was as breathless with wonder as Christine herself must have been when the masked stranger serenaded her in the candlelit labyrinth of the opera house. In that moment, Justyn wasn’t just portraying the phantom. Justyn was the phantom.

“Let the music touch your soul.

Let the darkness make you whole.

Do not fear what is unknown.

Your true path has now been shown.

Listen to the words I sing.

Embrace the peace that night will bring.”

As he continued to sing in his deep but somehow angelic voice, Rebecca found that she couldn’t tear her eyes away from him. With every line, her heart began to beat faster. She truly felt the arms of night wrapping her in a warm embrace. She could almost feel the hands of the phantom glide along her body as the words poured forth. The music caressed her. It possessed her—mind, body and soul. Each word left her longing, yearning for more.

She was gawking so obviously, it was hardly surprising when Justyn felt her eyes on him and steadily met her gaze. She realized her mouth was hanging open in stunned awe, and she quickly snapped it shut. His lips moved into just a small hint of a smile. He never took his eyes off her while he sang the final verse, making her cheeks flush to the point that she felt almost feverish. But it wasn’t embarrassment but excitement, arousal even, which was sending her mind spinning in so many directions.

When the song was over, and Rebecca had recovered just a hint of her composure, she couldn’t help but burst into a healthy round of applause. A few scattered people joined in, including Debbie and Carmen after she nudged them in the ribs. But only Miss King seemed to truly appreciate the brilliance of his talent as much as Rebecca did.

“That was amazing, Justyn!” the teacher gushed.

“Lord Justyn,” he corrected as he stepped down from the stage.

A few others complimented him as well, but he took in all in stride. In fact, his serious expression never faltered as he stepped down from the stage. He seemed almost bored, like it was all he could do to hold back a yawn, despite the smiles and words of encouragement.

But not everyone in the crowd was pleased as Justyn glided down the aisle, so ethereal in his dark garments that he still resonated the spirit of the Opera Ghost. Miss King might have been excited about the newest male addition to her cast after being limited for many years, but Tom and his group of boisterous companions glared at him as he passed them by. Jay sneered and tossed a balled up piece of paper in Justyn’s direction, but the Goth was quick, and caught it in his hand without missing a beat.

“I think you dropped something,” he said.

His speaking voice was no less melodic than his singing voice, but something about his tone made Rebecca shiver. He tossed the paper back at Jay, who was nowhere near as coordinated as Justyn. He practically fell off his seat in his efforts to catch it.

“Hey vampire,” Tom called when Justyn went to walk away. “Are you sure you can handle the competition?”

Justyn smiled, a cool, sarcastic half-smile, and crossed his arms over his chest. “Are you?”

Miss King didn’t notice the short confrontation, and Justyn vanished from the auditorium as quickly and mysteriously as he had appeared. Only Rebecca had noticed the very real tension between the two boys. She wondered if it was a bad omen for them to start off the production with hard feelings and envy. That could only lead to trouble. The kind of trouble that could end with someone getting hurt. The kind of trouble that Rebecca would do whatever it took to avoid.

'Opposites' by T.M. Smith: Cover Reveal

Calendar year 2081. Our planet has finally succumbed to Global Warming.

Dr. Anthony Smith, one of only a few thousand people to survive Global Warming Ignition, has come to the conclusion that the destruction of our planet and society had been due to Injudicious Breeding which lead (in his opinion) to over population, WAR, unnatural climate changes, lower intelligence, poor physical health, poverty, lust and greed. Having isolated the Dionysus gene, he decided to start society anew by manipulating Human DNA to ensure all their offspring would be born Gay/Lesbian. Thus creating a society where Gay/Lesbian is the norm... to be straight labels you an Opposite and makes you an Outkast.

~ Nature Versus Nurture ~

Some 200 years later Dr. Smith’s descendants have maintained control of the Government that rules society. House Gaeland rules their lands, as well as the other 6 countries that survived GWI. Twins, Aiya and Aiyan, are next in line to rule alongside their soon to be wife and husband. There is, however, a growing anomaly; one that threatens to unravel over 200 years of progress. This anomaly is known as Opposites.

A personal note from author TM Smith

I can’t thank all my sister bloggers enough for supporting me by hosting this cover reveal event! I’ve made some wonderful and fascinating friends this past year while working on Opposites; bloggers, reviewers and authors that have made a huge impact on me. I wish I could list you all by name. I hope you all know how very much I appreciate the support.

I will say the three most important things in life are Faith, Family and Friends. I have the best of all three! I thank god everyday for my wonderfully dysfunctional family and close knit group of friends. To have family and friends that support you when you are right, wrong or indifferent is a gift!

A military brat born and raised at Ft. Benning Georgia; Smith is an avid reader, reviewer and writer. She now calls Texas home from her small town on the outskirts of the DFW Metroplex. Most days you can find her curled up with her kindle and a good book alongside a glass of something aged and red or a steaming cup of coffee!

At 42 years young, she’s decided to enter the next phase of her life by adding the title of “author” to her list of accomplishments that includes single mom of three disturbingly outspoken and decidedly different kids, one of which is Autistic. Her two eldest kids and gay best friend were the inspiration for her upcoming new release, Opposites.

And now a message from Bev Irwin!

What an exciting day! And a contest too!

Another release day. Today is the day my medical / police thriller, WITHOUT CONSENT, comes out. So thrilled, I’m doing the happy dance. Glad you could come and join me.

What type of dance would you do? Jive, polka, rumba, or would you be refined and do a graceful waltz?

I’m doing a rock and roll. This is the fifth book in just over a year to be published which leads me to the today’s topic.

What to do while you are waiting for the train to stop at your corner?

The first thing you need to do is decide where you are going.

Do you have a specific genre you love to write and read? Or are you like me and like to genre hop?

I guess it’s my ADD but I like to multitask and I also like to flit from one writing project to the next. Not the most effective way to get the job done but it does keep things interesting.

Usually, I have several projects in varying stages of completion. Right now, in the romance genre I have a contemporary, a medical, and a suspense manuscript nearing completion. Another medical thriller with the same characters in WITHOUT CONSENT is partially written. I have three young adult novels in progress, one of them a sequel to my paranormal young adult, GHOSTLY JUSTICE with Daria and ghost, Amanda.

Now to just get them finished. But I have been so busy with edits and promotion for the books that came out this year that my writing time has been limited. I’m not complaining. It has been an amazing time. I’m so glad I’m ADD and had so many projects to pitch once the train stopped and let me get on.

So how did my journey begin?

It started with a pitch session with Savvy Authors in the summer of 2011. I pitched my medical romance, WHEN HEARTS COLLIDE to Debby at Soulmate Publishing and that book came out in December of the same year. At the same session, I pitched two books to Lauri at Black Opal Books and she contracted me for both of them! The first, my paranormal YA, GHOSTLY JUSTICE, was released in April, the second, a suspense with romantic elements, MISSING CLAYTON, came out in July.

Then, in October, Black Opal Books published IN HIS FATHER’S FOOTSTEPS, a middle grade/ YA, adventure. This book is about a boy’s survival in Northern Ontario while he searches for his missing father.

And, now today, (I’m doing a drum roll) my medical / police thriller, WITHOUT CONSENT, is being released. Wow! What a ride it’s been.

Now to get back to writing and finishing all those other projects and pray that they also find homes.

But I’m digressing. The point I’m getting at is that while you are waiting for that first amazing contract, you need to be writing, revising, writing, revising... It’s always good when you get a contract to be able to say, “Well, if you like that one...I do have...”

And there you go, possibly not only published but multi-published.

You write, you write some more. Keep that pen moving. You take courses, learn your craft, join on-line groups, go to conferences, meet other authors, network.

Go to conferences in the genres you like to write in. There are a ton of them out there and at different prices and lengths. You can find some that are an afternoon, a day, or even a week. Remember they can be a tax right-off when you do get published.

For myself I really enjoy a good mystery or thriller so I tend to go to conferences like Bouchercon (for writers and readers), Sleuthfest, Book Passages.

Network at the conferences. You never know what will happen. For me one of the most thrilling thing was chatting with Lee Child and him offering to read my manuscript and giving me the book endorsement: “A fine medical thriller.” Now how cool is that?
I’ve met so many wonderful writers at these conferences. You don’t harass them, you chat about life and interests. Respect them and their privacy, but don’t be afraid to approach them and say how much you like their books or their characters.

Do all the prep work so that when the train stops you are ready to leap on board with your bags packed with a variety of the best you can write manuscripts.

And keep dancing. I know I hope to.

Praise for Black Lace:

"J.V.K really developed a story line that was strong and very gripping; it catches your attention and has instances that you can relate to in real life, she builds a reality that is not only believable but also encouraging, as her story Black Lace is really all about free choice.–Paranormal Reads

“Vivian is not your average female character. She is no damsel in distress for sure, but she does suffer from some major mood swings and some temper issues. She isn't one that needs rescuing, except from maybe herself. This book has vampires, werewolves and a few other creatures, but doesn't follow the same style as most books in this genre. If you are looking for something different that has action and some heated moments, this is the read for you. ”- Mystical World of Book Reviews

What a deliciously dark and twisted love story! Brilliantly complex characters pull you in and keep you captivated. Just when you think it can't get any better, the author takes you back to scenes and replays the treasures that you missed! The beginning of an amazing series...a must-read indeed!” – Kristy Bueno

“Black Lace is a truly original read. I have yet to read another 'vampire' book quite like it. The originality lies directly in the uniqueness of the plot and storyline. It weaves and twists so quickly, and generally has a very fast pace, so much so that I was out of breath keeping up.” – Bex ‘n’ Books

And here, for your reading enjoyment is our interview with P.J., Bryn & Khol from Hidden Gates

*Hi there guys, first of all Lana and I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for taking the time to chat with us. Can you start off by telling our readers a little about yourselves?

“Oh, yeah, sure. Hi, everyone! My name is P.J. Stone and—“

“Well technically your name is Paige Joplin Stone.” Bryn chuckles and his eyes glitter with amusement.

“Seriously, Bryn? You just had to tell everyone that?” P.J. grinds her teeth together and then pastes on a fake smile. “And everyone this is Bryn Aries O’Bannon. Say hello to everyone, Bryn Aries O’Bannon.”

“Peej, come on.” Bryn frowns at P.J. who grins back at him.

“What? What’s fair is fair.” P.J. laughs.

Khol sighs and crosses his arms. “I think we should get on with this interview, don’t you, my little Seer?”

Bryn scowls at Khol and pulls P.J. closer to him. “She’s not your anything.”

P.J. bites her lower lip and glances nervously between Khol and Bryn. “Yeah, I think we should get on with this interview. So how about the next question?”

*Oookay then, what do each of you consider your greatest accomplishment to date?

“Not killing Khol.” Bryn grumbles under his breath.

“I could say the same about you.” Khol snaps.

“Guys, seriously. Can’t you two keep it under wraps for like five minutes? We all agreed to do this interview for Girls *Heart * Books, so lets do it already.”

“Fine.” Bryn mumbles.

Khol nods his head but continues to glare at Bryn.

“Alright then. Sorry Mel and Lana. These two can be a bit much together in the same room. I really should have thought about that before I talked them both into this.” P.J. sighs. “I can say my greatest accomplishment to date is not being driven crazy by the two of them.” P.J. sighs again but then snuggles into Bryn’s side.

*To PJ & Bryn: What is the first word that pops into your heads when you think about Khol?

“Hot.” P.J.’s face flushes then she looks up at Bryn.

Khol grins.

“I mean, you know, temperature wise, not hot as in hot—just hot.” P.J. looks to Mel for help. “Ummm…you know what I’m saying, right?”

Bryn interrupts. “I’ve got a word for Khol—insane. I mean he has to be to think he has any chance with Peej.”

“He doesn’t think any such thing, Bryn. In fact he didn’t say anything, I did. And it just came out wrong. So please let it go so we can move on with this interview. I’m starting to get annoyed.”

Bryn clamps his mouth shut, but glowers.

“Sorry again.” P.J. says.

*PJ-What five words would you use to describe yourself?

“Hmmm…five words to describe myself. This is a tough one. How about I describe Bryn? Lets see, Bryn is handsome, smart, funny, sexy…did I mention sexy?” P.J. giggles as Bryn dips his head to kiss her neck. “Bryn, stop I wasn’t done.” Bryn whispers something in P.J.’s ear and she blushes. “Yeah, okay we need to finish this up soon because Bryn and I need to—talk.”

Khol snorts but doesn’t say anything.

*Khol-What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday night?

Khol stares blankly for a moment. “I do not wish to divulge such personal information to strangers.”

“Khol, please, you promised you do this interview.” P.J. says with exasperation.

“I came to this interview for you, my little Seer. And I have stayed because of you as well. But I do not wish to answer the question.”

P.J. throws her hands up in the air. “Fine, one last question please. Clearly this just isn’t working with them.”

*Can you guys tell us what comes next for you?

“I will answer that question.” Khol says as his lips tip up slightly at the corners. “You’re just going to have to read the next book to find out.”

“For once, I agree with Khol.” Bryn chimes in.

“Well that’s at least something.” P.J. smiles. “Thanks for having us here today. I’m sorry that these two were so difficult. But I wouldn’t take it personally. They’re always like this.”

Khol disappears.

Bryn scoops P.J. up in his arms and carries her from the room. P.J. protests but doesn’t look like she means it at all.

*Ok. Looks like that's it.  Once again, Lana & I would like to thank P.J and her guys for chatting with us. Maybe you all can come back and chat with us again sometime.

Character Interview with Razor of 'ReAwakened' by Ada Adams w/ Flash Giveaway

Lana and I were lucky enough to snag an interview with Razor from The Angel Creek Series as part of our month long celebration of author, Ada Adams! We hope you enjoy this as much as we did :)

*Hi there Razor, first of all Lana and I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for taking the time to chat with us. Can you start off by telling our readers a little about yourself?
Thanks for having me, ladies. I guess I'll just give you the short and sweet PG version that I gave Dawn when we first met: “I’m a 24-year-old Taurus who enjoys long walks on the beach.” Just replace "walking" with a more physically strenuous activity.

* I know you like to project a very laid back persona, but am I right in assuming you have a more serious side that peeks through every once in a while?
I have a more serious side, but what’s the fun in being serious all the time? I've spent a lot of my early life being reckless, but after losing the most important person to me, I learned a lesson and put all of my energy into being responsible. Of course, after suffering yet another blow that came with my family's slaying and being turned, all that went out of the window. Now, I'm once again trying to balance the two sides.

*What do you consider your greatest accomplishment to date?
I suppose that succeeding in my field as a doctor is seen as a great accomplishment by our society, but the only reason I was motivated to achieve that was because of a personal tragedy. Therefore, I don’t really view it as an accomplishment. At that point in my life, it was something that I needed to do to get away from my pain. In a way, it was a selfish accomplishment, but I've tried to put it to good use by helping others.

*What five words would you use to describe yourself?
How about Sex God x 5? Nah, I’m just kidding. Humble x 5? *grins*

*What’s your favorite way to spend a Saturday night?
If you asked me this a while ago, I'd probably tell you that my perfect Saturday night involved going to some club, picking up the hottest chick there, then doing something reckless for the mere thrill of it...like breaking into some ritzy house with a pool and going skinny-dipping. Lately, I don't really have any desire to do stuff like that. Instead, I think it would be fun to take someone special to a secluded beach for some alone time. Really get away from the real-world and talk one-on-one. Get to know her. Heck, maybe even stargaze. But don't think that I've gone all sweet on you. There would still definitely be some skinny-dipping involved.

*Can you tell us if you plan on sticking around in Angel Creek for a while? If not, where will you head next?
I've always wanted to travel more and see the world. However, for the time being, I'm planning on sticking around Angel Creek. The town may be small, but its current inhabitants are the only people in the world that I care about. I need to spend more time with Sebastian, and I definitely want to spend more time getting to know Dawn.

*Again, thank you very much for chatting with us, Razor! Maybe you can come back and chat with us again sometime.
Or you guys could come visit me in Angel Creek. I'm going to try and convince Dawn to let loose and throw a party at the cottage. We'll see if I actually succeed, but you two are definitely invited!
