'Waiting on' Wednesday: Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly even hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases we're super excited about. This week, my pick is:

Finale
Hush, Hush Book #4
By Becca Fitzpatrick
Publication Date: October 23, 2012
Published By: Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing

Fates unfurl in the gripping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Hush, Hush saga.Nora is more certain than ever that she is in love with Patch. Fallen angel or no, he is the one for her. Her heritage and destiny may mean they are fated to be enemies, but there is no turning her back on him. Now Nora and Patch must gather their strength to face one last, perilous trial. Old enemies return, new enemies are made, and a friend's ultimate betrayal threatens the peace Patch and Nora so desperately want. The battle lines are drawn—but which sides are they on? And in the end, are there some obstacles even love can't conquer?

I have loved every moment of every one of these books and I'm very excited (and scared) to see how things will end up for Patch & Nora. This is my Waiting On, what's yours?

That is Ethan Chase's unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs-including his reputation-begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he'd dare to fall for.
Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world-the land of the Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.
My name is Ethan Chase and I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday. (from Goodreads)

I loved the Iron Fey series, and I am so excited that Julie has decided to return to that wonderful world she's created. I can't wait! This is my 'Waiting on', what's yours?

"Waiting on" Wednesday: The Rise of Nine by Pittacus Lore

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're super excited about. This week, my pick is:

The Rise of Nine
Lorien Legacies #3
By Pittacus Lore
Published By: HarperCollins
Available: August 21, 2012

Until the day I met John Smith, Number Four, I'd been on the run alone, hiding and fighting to stay alive.

Together, we are much more powerful. But it could only last so long before we had to separate to find the others. . . .

I went to Spain to find Seven, and I found even more, including a tenth member of the Garde who escaped from Lorien alive. Ella is younger than the rest of us, but just as brave. Now we're looking for the others—including John.

But so are they.

They caught Number One in Malaysia.
Number Two in England.
And Number Three in Kenya.
They caught me in New York—but I escaped.
I am Number Six.

I don't know about the rest of you but I am LOVING these books!  I can't wait to see what happens next!!

"Waiting on" Wednesday: The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan

"Waiting on" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're super excited about. This week, my pick is:

The Mark of Athena
Heroes of Olympus #3
By: Rick Riordan
Publication Date: October 2, 2012

In The Son of Neptune, Percy, Hazel, and Frank met in Camp Jupiter, the Roman equivalent of Camp Halfblood, and traveled to the land beyond the gods to complete a dangerous quest. The third book in the Heroes of Olympus series will unite them with Jason, Piper, and Leo. But they number only six—who will complete the Prophecy of Seven?

The Greek and Roman demigods will have to cooperate in order to defeat the giants released by the Earth Mother, Gaea. Then they will have to sail together to the ancient land to find the Doors of Death. What exactly are the Doors of Death? Much of the prophesy remains a mystery. . . .

With old friends and new friends joining forces, a marvelous ship, fearsome foes, and an exotic setting, The Mark of Athena promises to be another unforgettable adventure by master storyteller Rick Riordan. (from Barnes & Noble)

I have loved every single book I have read by Rick Riordan, especially the Percy Jackson series. I was so happy when I learned he was planning a spin off series. They have been just as amazing as the original series & I am anxious to see what happens to these demigods next!

That's my 'waiting on', what's yours?
