Author Appreciation Day 22: The Vibrant Veronica Roth

Today we are showing our undying love for Veronica Roth, the author of Divergent; I don't know about you guys but that book is one of my favorites and I really cannot wait for Insurgent. Tris and Four are some of my favorite literary characters ever.

I was actually at talking to the librarian at my local library about Hunger Games (can't WAIT for Friday-and wait til you see Lana's post!) and she recommended Divergent to me. I put my name on an insanely long waiting list and forgot about it. When I got the notification it had come in, I picked it up, not realizing I was about to read one of my very favorite books EVER. That's really hard for me to say, guys, just fyi..anyway, I read it in a day. And I immediately wanted MORE. I loved Tris; her bravery and strength; and the love story between she and Four was just so intense and not filled with the normal teen romance drama you see in the young adult genre. I was impressed, to say the least.
